Apologies but I'thou going to demand a piffling more help as I do non accept a safe option. All I get from the settings "gear" is:

Net options

Well-nigh

Aid

Permissions

So at the bottom the usual wifi, power options etc.

Please permit me know the full path equally I am struggling a picayune bit!!!

If your IE is ver 10, same as Ver 9.

To plow on or off Popular-up Blocker in Internet Explorer ix

1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet options.

2. On the Privacy tab, select or articulate the Turn on Pop-upwardly Blocker cheque box, and then click OK.

Hopes the higher up is what you lot are looking for.

When I follow those instructions at that place is no privacy tab and nothing about the popular-upwardly blocker.  Any other ideas?

When I follow those instructions there is no privacy tab and null well-nigh the pop-up blocker.  Whatever other ideas?

You have to open Internet Explorer on the Desktop:

Select "Tools" from the bill of fare bar

Select "Net Options" from the drop downwards bill of fare,  This box will open.....

Select the "privacy" tab (on top)

CHECK the box, adjacent to "Turn on Pop-upward Blocker"

 If you lot click on the "Settings" button, a box volition open that lets you let pop-up for specific sites of your choosing (like banks, etc.)

Click OK to save your setting.

Yep it did, pretty much, work.  Afterward when I was back at the site it gave me an opportunity to designated that site as an exception for the popular-up blocker.

This is not a windows IE or EGDE trouble because it happens in Chrome also.  This is a WINDOWS 10 trouble.

I just bought this pc, and if I go to a website, i get so many popups that I can't go anything done.  The view that you accept hither is nowhere on this pc.  I have Vers 10 and I thought I had this figured out, simply can't seem to discover anything that would let me STOP the popups.  PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!

Here is the real directions to turn on or off the windows 10 popular up blocker:  In the far right elevation corner is this symbol:  . . . click on this,  then click settings,  so click  View Advance settings, Yous will meet the slide buttons, to turn it ON and cake the pop up's motility information technology to the right, to turn if OFF and receive pop ups slide left,  Mr. Briggs
